We are a small Massachusetts tax firm representing individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities in all 50 states. Resolving federal and state tax problems is all that we do, year round. Our firm consists of just three experienced licensed tax professionals. As a result, you will only speak to and work with an experienced licensed tax professional never an unlicensed case worker or sales rep. You won't get lost in the shuffle at our firm. We only take on the amount of work we can handle and still provide our clients with the prompt personal service they rightly deserve. Our close attention to the details of your case ensures you are serviced thoroughly and meticulously. Unlike the large Offer in Compromise mills or factory-like national firms, we will never treat you like just another number. You will always be treated as a respected and valued client.

For those of you who live outside Massachusetts, please do not be concerned. Due to the nature of tax cases, representation before the IRS and state taxing authorities is performed by fax, phone, U.S. mail, email, and Fed Ex. Even our in-state clients' tax cases are resolved without us ever meeting the IRS or Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Our clients also never meet with the IRS or state taxing authorities. So, working with an out-of-state client is never a problem.

Unlike the Offer in Compromise mills or factory-like national firms who pass you around from one person to another while making it difficult if not impossible to reach them, our firm prides itself on its exceptional level of personal service. You will always be able to reach a licensed tax professional Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time). We strive to take calls immediately but if that is not possible, we will return your call promptly within 24 hours not days or weeks later. Voice Mail is only used after normal office hours or if we are all on the phone and can't interrupt our calls.

Matthew Previte CPA MST

Matt is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts and is licensed to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities (see copy of current license).

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in Dartmouth Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Taxation from the nationally recognized and respected Center for Tax Studies at Bentley College in Waltham Massachusetts as well as a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration from Framingham State College in Framingham Massachusetts.

Upon graduating college, Matt began his career in taxation at the Boston offices of Arthur Anderson & Company, the largest international CPA firm at that time. He later worked for two local Framingham Massachusetts' firms before beginning his firm in December 1989. In January 1997, Matt incorporated his sole proprietorship due to the firm's growth (see copy of current corporate license; see link showing incorporation in Massachusetts).

Matt is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He consistently logs more than twice the hours of continuing professional education required to maintain his license.

Matt was fortunate enough see many of the country's national parks and natural wonders in his youth during a three month trip with his family. He has also visited many of the nation's historic sites and monuments as well. The natural scenic beauty of the White Mountains in New Hampshire is his favorite regional destination to escape the world for vacation.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys hiking, fishing, seeing live bands, and playing keyboard and guitar. He is also actively involved in his church as well as several charitable organizations.

Natalya Pereira EA

Natalya is licensed as an Enrolled Agent after having passed a strenuous two day examination given by the United States Treasury Department covering all areas of federal tax law. Like Certified Public Accounts and attorneys, Enrolled Agents are licensed to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities (see copy of current license).

She graduated Cum Laude from Framingham State College in Framingham Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Natalya started working part-time at our firm during her final year in college. Upon graduation, she joined our firm full time as a taxpayer advocate.

She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and the National Society of Enrolled Agents. She consistently logs more hours of continuing professional education than required to maintain her license.

Natalya emigrated at the age of 12 from the former Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan which borders the Caspian Sea. She obtained her naturalization and became a United States Citizen in 2000. She is fluent in both English as well as her native language of Russian.

Feeling indebted to her new home country, Natalya enthusiastically enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard at the age of 17. She proudly served her new home country for 8 years completing her tour of duty at the rank of Specialist. She is the recipient of numerous awards and commendations from the United States Department of the Army. Among these, she received the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in several areas including service as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Non Commissioned Officer. She also received the Army Achievement Medal for her untiring efforts and contributions to the success of several missions during deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Outside of work, Natalya is busy as a wife and is the proud mother of a son. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, the outdoors, art, and creating new culinary recipes in her kitchen.

Lisa Guenon EA

Lisa is licensed as an Enrolled Agent after having passed a strenuous two day examination given by the United States Treasury Department covering all areas of federal tax law. Like Certified Public Accounts and attorneys, Enrolled Agents are licensed to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities (see copy of current license).

She graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

After working as an accountant in private industry for several years after college, Lisa came to work for our firm as a taxpayer advocate.

She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and the National Society of Enrolled Agents. She consistently logs more hours of continuing professional education than required to maintain her license.

Lisa spent several years of her early childhood in Germany due to her father's tour of duty in the United States Air Force. She is fluent in English as well as her mother's native language of German.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, painting, and sewing. She is also actively involved in environmental issues through the Sierra Club, volunteer work, charitable donations, and public awareness campaigns.
