IRS and State Tax Experts – TaxProblemsRUs

Providing Personal Service Helping Clients With Tax Problems

We are a small Massachusetts tax resolution firm representing individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. Resolving federal and state tax problems is all that we do, year round. Our firm consists of three experienced licensed tax professionals as well as support staff. As a result, you will only speak to and work with an experienced licensed tax professional never an unlicensed case worker or sales rep. You won’t get lost in the shuffle at our firm. We only take on the amount of work we can handle and still provide our clients with the prompt personal service they rightly deserve. Our close attention to the details of your case ensures you are serviced thoroughly and meticulously. Unlike the large Offer in Compromise mills or factory-like national firms, we will never treat you like just another number. You will always be treated as a respected and valued client.

For those of you who live outside Massachusetts, please do not be concerned. Due to the nature of tax cases, representation before the IRS and state taxing authorities is performed by fax, phone, U.S. mail, email, and Fed Ex. Even our in-state clients’ tax cases are resolved without us ever meeting the IRS or Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Our clients also never meet with the IRS or state taxing authorities. So, working with an out-of-state client is never a problem.

Exceptional Level of Personal Service

Unlike the Offer in Compromise mills or factory-like national firms who pass you around from one person to another while making it difficult if not impossible to reach them, our firm prides itself on its exceptional level of personal service. You will always be able to reach a licensed tax professional Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time). We strive to take calls immediately but if that is not possible, we will return your call promptly within 24 hours not days or weeks later. Voice Mail is only used after normal office hours or if we are all on the phone and can’t interrupt our calls.

Why You Shouldn’t Deal with the IRS or State Taxing Authority Yourself

People very often attempt to resolve their tax problems on their own without the assistance of an experienced licensed tax professional. Big mistake! You wouldn’t pull your own teeth, fix your own car, or build your own house (at least most of you). Why would you go up against the most formidable taxing agency in the world or one of its abusive little brothers, a state taxing authority? It is said that knowledge is power. Without thorough knowledge of how the IRS and state taxing authorities work and thorough knowledge of federal and state tax law, you have no power. As a result, its very easy to end up with a horrible outcome that can destroy your life and leave you awake nights unable to sleep. Don’t get frustrated, aggravated, or depressed by trying to solve your tax problems alone. Get the professional help you need now. Just pick up the phone and call us. You’ll feel like a big weight has been lifted off your shoulders. We have extensive knowledge of internal IRS and state operating procedures as well as federal and state tax law. Our long term relationships and daily interactions with IRS and state taxing officials provide a superior level of expertise not found in conventional CPA firms, law firms, or tax preparation firms. Our firm will handle all negotiations with the IRS and state taxing authorities.
